Andrew M. Oser is the owner and Funeral Director in Charge of Schneeberger-Oser Funeral Home. As a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Ohio and a Certified Crematory Operator, Andrew leads the funeral home with a simple belief: there is no single “right” way to say goodbye.

A graduate of Jackson High School, Andrew attended Ashland University, graduating in 2008 with studies in Business Administration, Marketing, and Criminal Justice. He later attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, where he completed his professional education in funeral service and prepared for a career that would ultimately become far more than a profession.

For Andrew, funeral service is about people.He believes a funeral should reflect the person who actually lived the life. Sometimes that means honoring generations of family tradition. Other times it means throwing tradition completely out the window and creating something nobody has ever seen before. Either way, the goal is the same: to give families the freedom, guidance, and support to create a goodbye that feels meaningful and authentic to them. That philosophy has helped shape Schneeberger-Oser Funeral Home into what it is today. Andrew is personally involved with the families the funeral home serves, from the first phone call through the funeral, burial, cremation, or Celebration of Life. He believes families deserve honest answers, thoughtful options, attention to detail, and a funeral director who is willing to listen before telling them what their funeral “should” look like.

Andrew also believes funeral homes have an obligation to be part of the communities they serve. He is active in Rotary International and is a lifelong member of the National Eagle Scout Association. Professionally, he maintains memberships with the National Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Funeral Directors Association, and Cremation Association of North America. He is also an Ohio Notary Public.

Away from the funeral home, Andrew shares his life with his husband, Nick, and their wonderfully opinionated collection of animals: Bowser, Bagel, and Lucifer. He enjoys traveling, cooking, golf, real estate, and finding projects that probably sounded much easier when he first decided to undertake them.

But funeral service remains deeply personal to him. Families come through the doors of Schneeberger-Oser on some of the hardest days of their lives. Andrew considers the trust they place in him and his staff an extraordinary responsibility. Whether a family chooses something quiet and traditional or a Celebration of Life that breaks every convention, they will receive the same dignity, compassion, attention, and care.

Because changing the way we say goodbye should never change the way we care.
