Audrey Rae Simon

To the world a mother Is only one woman while to a few one mother Is the world,
On Nov 25th 2019 a shadow fell across a rose only to re-bloom In god's garden of paradise.
Following a decline In health and bedside care Audrey was escorted to eternity along with whispers of love and comfort from her devoted husband Erwin (Sonny) Simon of 54 years, two daughters and two grandchildren.
Born the only child to the late Harold Rae and Lillian Jane Minger of Massillon Ohio on August 25th 1931. She was also preceded In death by her two daughters Lillian June Lash and JodI Ann Gardner as well as two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Audrey loved the holidays with her family and friends over home cooked meals and to reminisce of days gone by. she loved animals, good books and 1960's re-runs of family shows. She was retired from Sanese Vending and worked In the Canteens at the Timken co. affectionately known as "Mom" to many of the workers she served. She loved Massillon football and attended or watched every Tiger game she could
Survivors Include her husband, daughters Norma Lynn Randolph Of Canton, Randy and (Sharon} Feemster of New Philadelphia, two sons Jack Sheldon Lash Jr. and Jon Michael Rae Lash both of Beach city. and her wonderful Beauregard the cat of the home. She will also be missed by many grandchildren and great grand children.
The funeral will be private with a public memorial gathering of family and friends from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Thursday Dec 5th at the Polish Club 1605 Henry SW, Canton Ohio 44706
