Christopher Yamsek

It is with a mix of laughter and tears that we celebrate the life of Christopher Yamsek, a man whose talent was only outshone by his humor, wit, and resilience. Born on the 15th of December 1962, in the heart of Canton, Ohio, Christopher was, without a doubt, a resilient soul who lived life to its fullest. A talented jester and musician, he knew how to strum the guitar just as well as he could strum the heartstrings of everyone he met.

His passion for music was infectious, his fingers dancing over the strings of his much-loved guitars and his voice a melody that would brighten even the gloomiest of days. He is survived by his daughters, Courtney Lucero and Brianna Yamsek, his son Brandon Yamsek. Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Peter Yamsek.

A Celebration of Life service for Christopher will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 11:00am EDT at Schneeberger-Oser Funeral Home, 2222 Fulton Road Northwest, Canton, Ohio, 44709. This will be followed by a burial at Sunset Hills Burial Park, 5001 Everhard Road Northwest, Canton, Ohio, 44718 at 12:00pm EDT. Arrangements have been entrusted to Schneeberger-Oser Funeral Home.
