Some things we don’t quite understand,
And some things are out of our hands;
While some things make us sad and cry,
They make you fret and wonder why.
But there’s one thing that we all know,
There is a place where loved ones go,
A mansion somewhere up on high,
A place that’s way above the sky.
The streets up there are paved with gold,
And loved ones there never grow old;
A place where heavenly choirs sing,
And all day long just praise the King.

There is no sickness, death or pain,
And eternal life is what you gain;
So I tell you now, don’t you weep,
For she’s not dead, she’s just asleep.
Goodnight Lois, we’ll see you in the morning.
