Denise Lani Johnson, born on August 2, 1954, in St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024. Denise spent the majority of her life in Canton, Ohio, where she was a pillar of her family and community. Her compassionate and empathetic nature was mirrored in her loving and supportive relationships with those around her. Professionally, Denise spent several years as a Diagnostic Sonographer in the field of OB/GYN, retiring from the Stark County Women's Clinic. Her dedication to her work was a testament to her deep care for the well-being of others. However, what mattered most to Denise was her family. She was the doting mother of two daughters, Erin Gilmore and Amy Johnson, and the adored grandmother of four grandchildren, Alli, Adalyn, Jace, and Jordan. Denise is also survived by her ex-husband, Eric Johnson, and her siblings, Debbie, Diana, and Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Betty Jo (Bebo) Adams.
