Dorothy M. “Dottie” Boggins
went to be with our Lord Jesus on August 14, 2016.
Dottie is joined in heaven by her father Alex, mother Elizabeth, and her brothers Alex and Victor.
She is survived by her husband, retired Judge John F. Boggins. She also leaves behind her sons, John V. Boggins (Beth) and Michael X. Boggins, daughter Rebecca A. Jandrisevits (Gary), granddaughters Sarah J. Boggins and Abigail K. Boggins, and her prayer group, prayer partners, and many friends.
Dottie was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Ohio State University.
After a brief stent in nursing school, Dottie found her passion for teaching and taught for more than fifteen years both at St. Joan of Arc and in the Canton City School System.
Dottie was well loved and brought joy to her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday (tomorrow) from 6-8 pm in the funeral home.
Her life will be celebrated through a Catholic Mass at Christ The Servant Parish (formerly Our Lady of Peace), on Wednesday at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
