Emma “Kay” (O’Brien) Stebler November 12, 1947 to September 9, 2022 Emma “Kay” (O’Brien) Stebler of Massillon, Ohio passed away September 9, 2022 at home. Kay was born on November 12, 1947 in Canton, Ohio to the late Hallie J. O’Brien (White) and Donald E. “Bill” O’Brien. She was a devoted and beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Kay had a love for travel and adventure. She was blessed with 35 years of marriage to the late Dan Stebler, and they together enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with family and cherishing their roles as “Aunt Kay and Uncle Dan.” Kay was a dearly loved and devoted sister to Lois (Larry) Vanicek and Darlene O’Brien, as well as her late sister Donna (Victor) Marks. She was a cherished sister-in-law to Victor, Jackie, Elayne and the late Larry and Roberta, as well as a treasured aunt and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her beloved dog, Lexi. Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Dan, her mother and father Hallie and Bill O’Brien, her sister Donna Marks, many dearly loved aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters in law, as well as her beloved dogs Sammie and Gracie. Kay will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery on Thursday, September 15, 2022. Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Schneeberger Funeral Home with funeral at 1 pm and interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kay Stebler Memorial Fund at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
