Isabelle Ann Seaman Obituary (1922

"Together Again" Isabelle Seaman age 99, of Canton, passed away January 8, 2022 in New Philadelphia, OH at the Schoenbrunn Rehabilitation Care Center from Covid Complications. Born on July 17, 1922 to the late Carl and Anna (Church) Schriever, she graduated from McKinley High School in 1940. She is also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Carl, Billy and Robert Schriever and her two sisters, Marilyn Lech and Susan Geib. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a life long friend, Fran Stermer who stayed in touch with Isabelle until her passing. And her feline companion, “Miss Kitty”. On August 22, 1948, she married the love of her life, Edward J. Seaman. They were married 57 years before his passing in 2006. Upon retirement Ed and Isabelle purchased a home in Ft. Myers, FL and made the trip south every year. After Ed’s passing, Isabelle continued to visit friends in Ft. Myers until she turned 97. Isabelle and Ed along with their friend loved to go dancing at halls and clubs as well play cards, especially Bridge and Euchre. At Isabelle’s request, cremation will take place with no services . She will be buried in Forest Hill Cemetery following cremation.
