Jay Patrick Ferry

Jay Patrick Ferry, age 73, passed away on July 24th at Aultman’s Compassionate Care Center following a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Edith (Garber) Ferry, half-sister, Mary Good, and half-brothers, Richard Heath, Robert Ferry, and William Ferry. He is survived by his sister Bonnie (Ferry) Tatsch, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Jay was a 1970 graduate of Hoover High School and a long time resident of the Pavilion at Edgefield (following an auto accident in 1979) where he made many friends over the years. He loved art, animals and most of all, music. As a young man, he enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to his extensive collection of rock and roll.

He was a quiet, kind soul and a friend to everyone he met. He is greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
