Jill Denise Shamp Obituary (1961 - 2023)

Jill D Shamp, 61, of Canton, OH, passed away on 02 April 2023. She was born to parents Joan Charleson-Poorman and Jack Poorman, on 21 October 1961 in Canton, OH. She graduated from Glenoak High School. She went on to study Childcare and Development at Malone University and graduated with a degree in Childcare. Jill worked as a Childcare and Development advocate for 9 years. After Number of Years years of service, She retired from the YWCA. Jill met Denny Shamp met over 30 years ago. They were married September 2001 in Virgina Beach, VA. Together they raised 2 children: Matthew Rowan /Heather Marcum. Jill is survived by Denny Shamp, Husband, Matthew Rowan, Son, Heather and Eric Marcum, Daugher, Son-in-law, Jordan and Taylor Marcum, Grandchildren, Crystal Phillips, Niece, Myia Pastor, Niece. The family is hosting a private event in the remembrance of Jill on Saturday - April 8, 2023. Close friends and family are invited to attend. Matt and Branden will be hosting.
