Joanne Moody

–

Sylvania, Ohio

The heavens rejoiced Sept. 11 as Joanne Moody was welcomed into the Kingdom of Our Lord. Surrounded by husband, Edward, and sons Jim and Tim, Joanne died peacefully in her sleep. She was born July 25, 1935. The embodiment of leaving the world a better place, Joanne positively influenced so many lives by being a Cub Scout Leader, social worker for the Salvation Army, a youth leader for North Industry Sportsman Club, founding member of Lehman Alumni Association helping to raise and distribute more than $400,000 in scholarships, director Stark County Federation of Conservation Clubs, reporter for Louisville Herald, Louisville High School band booster, associate of Stark County Women’s Republican Club, advocate for Stark County 4H and so much more. Even with all those accomplishments, she felt her greatest accomplishments were that of successful homemaker, wife and mother. Calling hours will be Friday, Sept 15 from 11-1 at Schneeberger Funeral Home and committal service directly thereafter at Sunset Hills Burial Park Chapel with long time family friend Pastor Kirk Bruce leading. All who knew Joanne and know Edward are welcome to come and celebrate her transition to heavenly wonderment. To share a memory or send condolences to family, visit us at www.SchneebergerFuneral.com
