Josephine K. Buch

–

Canton, Ohio

Josephine Kay “Josey” Buch, age 64, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026.

Born in Canton, Ohio, Josey was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Patricia Buch. She grew up surrounded by family, laughter, and music, spending countless hours writing poetry and singing the songs that became treasured memories for those who knew and loved her. She possessed a creative spirit and a gentle heart, finding beauty in words, music, and the simple moments shared with those closest to her.

Josey will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet strength, and the love she carried for her family. Whether through a heartfelt conversation, a favorite melody, or one of the poems she enjoyed writing, she had a way of leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Patricia “Patty” Buch, whose love and guidance remained with her throughout her life. We find comfort in imagining the joyful reunion they now share.

Josey leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory, including her beloved son, Roman Cardarelli of New York; her devoted father, Joseph Buch; her sister, Cindy (Arnie) Tuber; her sister, Tammy, and Tammy’s partner, Ernie Washington; along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her deeply.

Although our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the memories she gave us…the songs she sang, the words she wrote, the laughter she shared, and the love she freely gave. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

In keeping with Josey’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Her family asks that those wishing to honor her memory do so by taking a quiet moment to listen to a favorite song, write a few heartfelt words, or simply spend time with the people they love, remembering that life’s greatest gifts are often found in its simplest moments.

Forever loved…forever remembered…and forever missed.
