Kermit Mason

Kermit Mason, born on January 10, 1934 in Hyndman, PA, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024. Kermit lived a fulfilling life as he reached the age of 90 years. He resided in Massillon, Ohio where he was known and loved by many. He was a devoted husband, having celebrated his marriage to his beloved wife, Barbara Mason, on December 31, 1955.

Kermit was a respected employee at Republic Steel for 30 years, where he diligently served as a Scheduler. His professional life was as rich as his personal life, where he found great joy in beekeeping. Kermit was an active member of the Stark County Beekeepers Association, a hobby that brought him great joy and fulfillment. He was a faithful member of the First Christian Church and a dedicated participant in the Christian Co-Ed Sunday School Class, where he demonstrated his strong faith and commitment to his community.

Kermit is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Mason, his children Carol (Jim) and Donald, and his nephew, David Mills. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Sr. and Pearl Mason, and his siblings, Joyce Miller and John Mason. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
