Kevin Lowdermilk

–

Massillon, Ohio

With profound sadness and enduring love, we announce the passing of Kevin Todd Lowdermilk, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, proud veteran, and gentle soul, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 24th at the age of 70.

Kevin was a 1973 graduate of Jackson High School and served his country with honor as a member of the United States Marine Corps and Army. His sense of duty, humility, and quiet strength remained constants throughout his life, shaping him into the man so many admired and loved.

For 51 years, Kevin shared a beautiful and unwavering bond with his beloved wife and best friend, Pam. They met and fell in love as teenagers with their love growing stronger as the years passed and their family grew. Their marriage was a true partnership, marked by respect, laughter, and a deep-rooted love that served as the foundation for their family and a shining example to all who knew them. It was evident to all that their favorite place to be was together.

He was the proud father and father-in-law to Tonya Eutzly, Kara and Kyle Hemminger, and Tara and Courtney Joly-Lowdermilk, whom he supported with tireless devotion. His greatest joy, however, came from being “Grandpa/Pop Pop” to Mason, Chase, Avery, and Bennett. Whether he was reading bedtime stories, offering quiet words of wisdom, or simply sharing a warm hug, his love for his grandchildren was boundless and clear in every moment he spent with them.

Family was everything to Kevin. He found happiness in holiday dinners, family vacations, cruises, card games, and front porch conversations. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the memories he created, and the love he gave so freely. Kevin will be remembered for his warm heart, steady hands, sharp wit, and unwavering love.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Toys for Tots, in honor of his life of service, love, and strength.

A celebration of his life will be held this fall, his favorite season, when the leaves change and Ohio State football fills the air.

Details will be shared with family and friends in the coming weeks.
