Lela Jayne Schaffner Louisville- Lela Jayne Schaffner age 90 went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 13, 2022. Born on August 24, 1931, daughter of the late James and Oral (Barns) Andrews. Jayne was a Louisville graduate, Faithful member of Cathedral of Life and taught in home Good News Club for many years along with teaching Sunday School classes. She enjoyed family, so loving and caring especially with the grandchildren. She also enjoyed studying scripture, crocheting and reading. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years John (Jack) Schaffner in 2009 and her twin brother Jay Andrews. Siblings: Esther Warth of Arizona, Althea Andrews of Canton and Joral Thomas of Colorado. Jayne is survived by two sons and a daughter all of Louisville. John (Kathy) Schaffner, Jeffery (Linda) Schaffner and Julie (Douglas) Wheeler; Seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Calling hour Friday, February 18th at 10 AM, service at 11AM; Schneeberger Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery Louisville.
