Melody L. Criss

Melody L Criss 1959-2017
age 57, of Canton, passed away Jan. 31, 2017 after an extended illness. Born Nov. 29, 1959 she was a lifelong resident of Canton and member of Saint Benedict Catholic Church.
Melody is preceded in death by her mother Connie Brady and her loving husband Thomas Criss. She is survived by her 4 children, Shane (Jamie), Billy (Rachel), Joe (Sarah) and Grace (Clyde) and 16 grandchildren. Melody is also survived by brother Terry (Michele) Brady and sister Debby Agnew; and many nieces and nephews whom held a special place in her heart.
Melody was an amazing woman who loved everyone. She had her heart and doors open to anyone who needed it. She was an avid crafter and gardener. Above all else she loved her grandchildren. Brooke, Christian, Aubry, Ethan, Ashton, Aiden, Lindsay, Lexi, Derick, Lily, Parker, Abbey, Jordan, Mia, James, Ashley, Melody, Kayla and Travis. She spent most of her life caring for her kids, they were always put above everything else. She took the time to travel any chance she could get and her favorite days were when she and Tom went on their rides. We all know how much she loved Tom, he meant the world to her. It helps ease the pain of missing her knowing that she is with Tom again.
Services will be Saturday Feb. 4, 2017 at 3 pm in the funeral home. Visitation will begin at 1 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to help with expenses may be made to "Clark Schneeberger & Son, Inc." Receipts will be available at time of contribution on Saturday.
