Teddy Murphy

Teddy C. Murphy, a resident of Massillon, was a man of many hats, but none more cherished than those of a loving husband and devoted father. Born on June 5, 1955, Teddy was known for his loyalty to those he loved, his wit that could spark laughter in any room, and his funny anecdotes that were often sprinkled with a touch of creative embellishment.

For many years, Teddy was the go-to guy for all things green as a lawn care specialist in his own landscaping and property improvement business. His dedication and care for his work were only surpassed by his love for his family. Teddy's world revolved around his two sons, Kyle and Curtis. His love for them was evident in the way he spoke about them, his eyes lighting up with pride and joy every time their names were mentioned.

Teddy is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Murphy, and their sons, Curtis and Kyle Murphy; brothers Steve (Michelle) and Keith (Lisa) Murphy. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marian Murphy; his Mother & Father In-Law Ernie and Marcedes Highben, his brothers, Curtis, Kelly, and Randy Murphy; and sister Linda Murphy. His family and his stories remain as his legacy, a testament to a life filled with love, laughter.

Teddy's life was a tapestry of love, loyalty, humor, and a dash of wit. He left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will continue to bring a smile to their faces. For those he loved, when you need him most he gave you his best, that includes the many Murphy canines he had the pleasure of loving and caring for over the years.

We invite you to share your memories and photos of Teddy on his memorial page, as a tribute to a remarkable man who touched the lives of so many.
