Terry Scott Patterson

Terry Scott Patterson, of Canton, Ohio, was born on October 21, 1963, and passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 61. A quiet protector, a loyal friend, and a man of deep love, Terry was known for his steady presence and the comfort he brought to those around him. He shared his life with his beloved wife and best friend, Dannielle Fletcher, and just eighteen days after Terry’s passing, on March 24, 2025, Dannielle joined him in eternal rest.

He is survived by his brothers: Kelvin Patterson, Stephen Patterson, Tomier (Kim) Davenport, Thomas Davenport, and Theodore “Ted” (Mari) Davenport; his sisters: Kimberly (Johnnie) Pate, Beatrice D. Tharp, and Williemae (Anthony) Davenport Wilson; and his sons: Matthew (Shameka) Barrino, Ian-Isaac (Juan) Silva, Mikal Duncan, Terry Patterson Jr., and Andre Duncan. He leaves behind a growing legacy of grandchildren: Darius, Jordan, Meeah, Aubrey, AvaMarie, Matthew Jr., Tre’Monte, Shyaire, and the the soon-to-arrive Nova U. Johnson-Patterson. Terry also had a special connection with his nieces—Darcel Kelly, Shawnteva Patterson, Katrina Clemons, and Felicia Bryant—each of whom held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Daisy Patterson, and sisters, Mary Elizabeth Pratt and Tessie Lynn Davenport.
