Todd Curtis

–

Mansfield, Ohio

Todd Lee Curtis, of Mansfield, Ohio, peacefully went home to be with his Lord and
Savior on Sunday, August 2, 2026, after an extended illness. He was 62.

Todd was born on February 15, 1964, in Massillon, Ohio. On that day, Todd received his first Massillon Tiger football in the hospital nursery. From that moment on, Todd was loyal, life-long Tiger fan.

Todd graduated from Massillon Washington High School in 1982. He earned a degree in elementary education from Akron University and went on to become a middle-school teacher and coach in the Massillon City School District. He next earned a master's degree from Ashland University in educational administration and pursued a career as a school principal. Later, he earned a second master's degree in counseling and became a Licensed Clinical Supervisor. Todd helped many people who struggled with addictions to integrate back into a successful and meaningful life after rehabilitation. Todd's clients and their families meant a great deal to him, and he loved
helping them every day.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Donna M. and Bernard L. Curtis of
Massillon. Todd is survived by his son, Derek J. Curtis, his daughter-in-law, Venny, of Pittsburgh, PA and by his daughter, Faith N. Curtis, of Mansfield, OH. Also, left to
cherish his memory is his brother, Ivan Shrock (Nancy) of Marysville, Ohio.

Todd is remembered as a quiet man with a quick-witted, dry sense of humor. In addition to his love of all-things-Massillon-Tigers, Todd enjoyed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns, the Miami Dolphins, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Columbus Blue Jackets. He loved camping, sparring over politics, and attending Massillon Tiger Football games, both home, as a dedicated season-ticket
holder, and away.

Funeral services will be private. A remembrance service will be held at a later date.

The family asks anyone desiring to honor Todd's memory to make a donation in his
name to the Massillon Tiger Football Booster Club, P.O. Box 19, Massillon, OH 44648.
