Walter A. Ackerman Jr.

Walter Andrew Ackerman Jr, 60, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday February 27th, 2018.
Born October 17th, 1957 in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Walter A Ackerman Sr and Carol L Ackerman (Whitmyer).
He was survived by his stepmother Carol L Ackerman (Smith); wife Bonita Ackerman; siblings Greg (Susan) Ackerman, Terry (Tina) Ackerman, Scott (Chris) Ackerman, Sherry Prowant; children Melissa Sanderbeck, Stephanie Risko, Timothy Randles, Angelica Ackerman, Walter Ackerman III, Dominique Ackerman, Misty-Dawn Ackerman, Anthony Ackerman; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was a Louisville graduate, a man of God and an advit lover of motorcycles and CB's. He treasured time with his family and friends. When not with his family, he spent his time working at The Refuge of Hope. The Refuge of Hope holds a special place in his heart. Without them he might not have become the man we know today.
A memorial service will be held Sunday Marchy 4th, 2018 at 6 p.m. at The Refuge of Hope for friends and family. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name to The Refuge of Hope.
