Zona Y. "Sis" Murphy Obituary (1936 - 2021)

Zona “Sis” Murphy age 84, of Canton, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at home. Born in Somerset, Pennsylvania to the late George T. and Catharine (Geiger) Gomer, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, George “Bud” Gomer Jr., Robert Gomer, Hazel Mallon and Roland “Syke” Gomer Survived by her husband of 68 years, Duane E. Murphy Sr.; children, Duane (Jolie) Murphy Jr. and Lorelei Leighty; four grandchildren, Amanda Murphy (Benjamin), Bocephus Murphy, Joshua Hamilton, Joshua Kuehn and three great grandchildren, Keagan Hamilton, Emarie Murphy, Brandon Bulatovich; sisters, Bonita Lepley and Audrey (Les) Beeman; many nieces and nephews. Services will be Wednesday at 1 pm in the Schneeberger Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Manko III officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
